I paint from a quiet almost spiritual place in myself where I explore a life-long fascination of patterning,
architectural elements and the visual language of the Native American culture,
as well as pre-Colombian and Mayan pottery and
Islamic motifs from carpets and fabrics.
I paint not what I see, but how
what I see makes me
feel.
